ABA and Alberta Archery Clubs
Review the requirement and advantages below:
- Alberta archery clubs can contact the ABA ([email protected]) to be listed on the ABA website.
- Club must be registered with Alberta Society’s branch.
- Archery club members can join the ABA at a discounted rate:
- Archery clubs can contact the ABA Membership Chair directly (like we have done in the past) at [email protected]. Send Mike the list of your archery club members who want to join the ABA/payment to the ABA of the respective dues. Mike will manually enter these club members into the ABA Membership database and send out their ABA membership card.
- Archery club members can join the ABA directly from the ABA website Shop Online – Alberta Bowhunters Association (at the discounted rate) No administrative work is required by the clubs in processing ABA memberships.
- The ABA will provide the clubs with an “ABA Message” several times a year that they can pass on to their club members (your club email list, your Facebook page, etc). The message will outline what the ABA is, what the ABA membership offers and a link to the discounted rates/youth rate that the archery club members can use to join the ABA. Once they have selected the appropriate membership, they need to fill in the name of their archery club.
- ABA 3D Donation Program:If the archery club has an archery shoot that has a Hunter Class or a bowhunting theme, the ABA will send the club $200 to be used for prizes on behalf of the ABA. $75 of that to go towards youth prizes.Contact [email protected] to register your shoot and qualify for the donation program.
- The ABA will promote any of these archery clubs’ 3D shoots on our website and social media platforms.
